GIS Programmer
Responsible for development of software applications in JAVA, PHP, and .NET using specialized knowledge of geospatial information sciences and desktop software such as ESRI ArcScript, and ArcInfo; responsible for engineering GUI and platform extensions to provide integration between relational geospatial databases such as Postresql/PostGIS, AutoDesk MapGuide OpenSource, MYSQL, and ArcSDE to our desktop and server software products; participate in database management and design of large vector and raster GIS data stores, with tasks including distributing access to employees and customers; create visualizations of the data; and ensure data integrity as well as coordinate the GIS data redundancy plan.
